Natural gas emissions are roughly half that of coal emissions when compared on an energy equivalence basis.
WHAT IS AN OUTFALL?
Outfalls allow Carbon Creek to recycle water in drilling operations, provide drinking water to livestock through stock tanks, irrigate the surrounding land through center pivots, and create reservoirs.
By working with the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (WDEQ), we’ve been permitted to construct outfalls. These outfalls are the mechanism by which we create value with this water for livestock, wildlife and agriculture producers.
Outfalls can be in the form of water tanks to provide drinking water to livestock.
Reservoir outfalls also provide water for growing crops
